Going Greek is one of the most rewarding decisions a college student can make. Sorority life offers a unique opportunity to build lifelong friendships, develop leadership skills, and become part of a strong support system. It creates a sense of belonging and provides countless opportunities for personal growth, community involvement, and memorable experiences. Beyond college, the connections, values, and experiences gained through Greek life continue to make a lasting impact. Alpha Chi Omega at Mississippi State University, sisterhood means supporting one another, celebrating each other’s successes, and creating friendships that last far beyond our college years. Our chapter is made up of women who are passionate about leadership, service, and building a community where everyone feels valued.
Sisterhood is the heart of everything we do. From Bid Day celebrations and sisterhood retreats to formals, game days, and everyday moments together, our chapter is built on friendships that grow stronger through shared experiences.
Our sisters support each other in academics, leadership, and life beyond college. Whether we’re studying together, celebrating milestones, or simply spending time at the house, the bonds formed in Alpha Chi Omega create memories and friendships that last a lifetime.
Philanthropy is a core part of the mission of Alpha Chi Omega. Our chapter proudly supports the Real Strong Women initiative, which raises awareness and provides support for survivors of domestic violence. We partner with organizations like Safe Haven Shelter to advocate for and uplift women in our community.
Throughout the year, our sisters host philanthropy events that bring the campus together while supporting this important cause. Signature events include Sets for Safe Haven, a philanthropy volleyball tournament, and Taco ’Bout DVA, which raises awareness for domestic violence awareness. Through these events and our continued advocacy, our chapter strives to empower women and make a meaningful impact in the Starkville community.
